Disbursements are payments that have to be made by the funeral director to third parties who have a part in the overall arrangements that have to be made at the time of arranging a funeral.

These include:

Crematoria or cemetery fees.

Doctors fees for completion of necessary medical certificates for cremation.

Intimations in Newspapers.

Flowers.

Ministers / Officiants fee.

The funeral director will add the cost of all of these payments onto the funeral account. The cost of the payments made by the funeral director to third parties will be itemised in the final funeral account.
